Casino Night: Chipping in for History

Try your luck with Lady Luck and join the History Center for our newest event. Try your luck at roulette, craps, blackjack tables and Texas Hold 'em for chances to win great prizes such as a vegas trip. Don't like to gamble? Then try Bingo or exchange your chips for raffle tickets for chances to win great prizes. Your ticket buys you your chips to begin or raffle tickets for great prizes. Jammin' the Loop

The Kenosha History Center and the Harborside/Downtown Business Districts invite you out for a fun-filled evening of great bands at 11 establishments. Participating venues include Frank's Diner, Carolyn's Coffee Connection, Lazy Bird, Wine Knot, Cooler Near the Lake, Bindelli's City Zoo, TG's, Boathouse, Captain Mikes and Harborside Inn. A trolley and bus will provide transportation between venues throughout the evening. Bands will play 7 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. at most establishments; 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at all other. EAA Oshkosh Bus Trip
Friday August 1, 2008.
$65.00 before June 23/$70.00 after
Join the Kenosha History Center on a bus trip to the EAA fly-in in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Avoid the travel and parking hassles and let us do the driving. Price includes round trip motorcoach transportation from Kenosha to Oshkosh, gratuity and admission to the EAA grounds; lunch is on your own. Bus departs the Kenosha History Center at 8 a.m. and returns to Kenosha at 8 p.m. Click on the photo for detailed information.






 
Lighthouse Tours

Southport Lighthouse Festival & Kenosha History Center Classic Car Show
August 2, 2008
Free, Lighthouse Tours $10 adults/$5 children 8-12 & Members
The Classic Car show features all makes and models with food and beverages available for purchase. The Southport Lighthouse also open from 9 to 4 for tours to the top. Car entry registration fee is $10 and includes meal. Click on the photo for more information.






 
Kenosha History Center Cemetery Walk

Spend a beautiful fall day walking through Green Ridge Cemetery and learning about Law, order and disorder in the history of Kenosha. The tour features reenactors describing individuals featured on the tour, 1-4 p.m. Tours leave on a first come, first serve basis at the Green Ridge Cemetery entrance.
