The 1866 Southport Lighthouse tower is now open to tour for the 2008 season. Saturdays and Sundays , weather permitting, the tower will be open 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. through mid-October, 2008. Visitors are encouraged to call (262) 654-5770 to verify if the tower is open during inclement weather. View the surrounding area from 55 feet up in the air. If you are visiting during the warmer months and are not here during weekends, the museum may be able to arrange a trip to the top of the tower. We cannot guarantee you but if one of the staff is available, we can arrange to open the tower.
